I just remembered something. Didnt Ashly mention in one of her early episodes she had a little sister? Did she just say that to avoid the question or does she really have a sibling and if its the latter, wouldn’t they also have the curse???

I don’t remember Ashley saying that she had a little sister. Based on the time Ashley met with her parents, I was always under the impression that she’s an only child.

Ashes to Ashes Episode 3 – 3:22 she says her little sister might appreciate the girl cloths when Gwen asks if she can have them.

I would treat that as a throwaway line of no importance, especially since it comes from something as early as episode three. If Ashley really did have a sister, they would have mentioned her more than once, especially when she realizes that the gender curse is genetic. They especially would have invited the sister over when Ashley told her family that she’s not a man anymore. For that matter, if she did have a “younger” sister, and Ashley is in college, the sister would be in high school or lower, and most likely living with her parents. Yet we never… Read more »

Got it, thx for the clarification. I have a tendency to over analyze at times.

OK, I finally identified the last two people on the bracket I hadn’t recognized.

For some reason I thought Daisy was from the one-shot “O Sister Where Art Thou” but oops she’s the main character from from Stars, Bars, and Stripes (how did I forget this?)

The other character I hadn’t recognized is Kelly. (Who after some searching seems to be the main character from “An Untrusting Fiance”–I guess this bracket is a spoiler since we’ve only heard the name Kelvin and the name Valerie–the woman Kelvin was trying to impersonate).

Well, 3 hours later and Scarlett is winning in a blowout here too. (I voted for Andi, but fully expected a blowout for Scarlett).

The interesting question on my mind is whether Scarlett wins her next match. She’s up against Robin, whom I like a lot, but Scarlett is in a lot more stuff than Robin.

I wouldn’t say that Scarlett is in more things than Robin. Not when Scarlett has never been the prime focus on any series. In terms of screen time, Robin and Scarlett are pretty even, especially with Robin’s return in Ashes to Ashes.

But on top of that, screen time hasn’t necessarily been the deciding factor in these match ups. Characters with more screen time have lost to characters with less screen time.

In any case, I do think Scarlett vs. Robin will be a close one, but I see Robin winning that match.
