I’m very certain at the end of this series or close to it the dean will be removed from his position for his crimes. This will cement Damon’s hatred towards Jessica and give reason to take his revenge against her and her non-blood friends in Awakening (Damon does share the same last name as the dean and Lawrence despite the latter two being non-bloods).
Pwehaps Damon is a half blood one of his parents is a Sorverer and the other is a Non-Blood

He will probably not have the sense of nobility that Chris, Jessica, Christina, and Ashley have despite being a mixling. We have yet to have a confirmed instance of a mixling being prejudice towards non-bloods despite having non-blood ancestry. In the Harry Potter universe, there are half-bloods that are hypocritically pure-blood supremacists despite having Muggle or Muggle-born ancestry (Voldemort for example).
