Only way the Layover is canon is if Sam later shows that Chris and Isabelle already know Jamie and Mariah after they are saved from the enhanced curses. There is another page later on about a specific item I want to talk about but I want to wait til that page has been released here.
That is, if the way they’ll be saved from those curses will be done individually.
Now that Alistair is human again, he might be strong enough to remove every curse from every person worldwide, like what he did back in Cinder Isle, but on a larger scale.

oh wow i wonder where mariah , jamie ,isabelle and chris can come up with a thousand dollars each to stay in a hotel’s presidential sweet . i wonder how chris and isabelle are going to find those mystery men to return that case and i hope that they don’t get curious and open it,
