If you don’t know what to say, try using some lines from Spawnfan’s ‘The Date’ comic. Remember, I’m looking for men and women, and it would be great if I could find a few people who could do something in-between.
PLEASE NOTE that any audio of poor quality can’t be used at all. Here are some basic tips:
- Avoid too much background noise such as computer fans, TVs, or traffic.
- Don’t record somewhere that echos.
- Really cheap mics are obviously not good.
- Use a pop filter, or at least turn your head so you don’t blow onto the mic.

At some point I feel better telling this but now, are voice actors still needed?
Even if I say so myself, I think I have “talent”.
I can do what sounds like Morgan Freeman (Yoda from star wars as well, no matter how stupid that may be), a heavy voice, my own voice, robot voice etc… (Even male and female opera voice lol)

I’m thinking about getting a Blue Yeti mic or something decent and USB-capable since I’m fairly confident in my voice manipulation and wish to, at the very least, offer my speech for some of these cool animations, as well as participate in some of these gaming competitions I see on Youtube. Anyway, my question is this: are you still looking for new voice actors? And, if so, what should I study before recording my voice samples?
