That moment when the kid realizes he’s lost several years of his lifespan and isn’t qualified to teach due to not finishing school. Wanting to age up is naive. I can’t imagine she won’t regret it eventually. I think it shows Isabelle’s immaturity that she thought granting that wish was morally right.
I was thinking pretty much the same thing. Lots of people want to be “adult” its a normal thing but that’s because they only see the freedom/money etc they don’t realize all the downsides of actually skipping several years of life. Even if he went from late teens to early twenties as a “new” teacher and was advanced for his years she simply doesn’t have the training experience she should and as you said she just lost several years of her life. One thing you have to consider is that Isabelle did a heck of a lot more than simply transforming their bodies. The name plate they mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg, considering that it implies she also cast Memory Alter to make them both fit into their new lives. And since she can alter memories to make everyone they knew think they’ve always been who they are now, why could she not also add memories of going through teacher training?
I should have gotten into more detail about it in this part, but that isn’t the case. Fox gets into it in part 4, but he’s using Memory Alter for her since she doesn’t know it yet. (In fact, she fan-girls when she sees him do it)
