You remind me of a manga (hentai) I read where two friends got trapped in a data simulation and the secret route involved the best friend being turned into a girl and falling in love. The “main character” commented she was a Tsundere Heroine and she objected on both counts.

I think is it’s at least partially self-serving. Leon has been pretty irritated with everyone around him not being who they appear. He’s going to go buy Origin Masks so that they can all hang out as themselves for a time.
The city sort of looks like an Ewok village on Endor from Star Wars. Either that, or from Robin Hood. 😛

He didn’t log out, he split off from the group to go turn in some quests. It was explained on page 67.
that wouldn’t mean she would have been disconnected. A disconnection means she went out of the game or logged in as someone else. She is clearly hiding something always splitting from the group and not sharing who she is and knowing what someone was doing in the middle of the night when she was sleeping. She is up to something!
