Chris should know, reading their minds, can hear Russel plea…”I am Isabelle” while Isabelle is thinking “I am getting away with this.”
As far as I know, you can’t (easily) read the minds of sorcerers, at least trained ones… So if he has Isabelle’s memories he should be able to protect his mind from Chris reading it.
