Sam… what you said about the banner isn’t really true. Two of them weren’t originally guys. If you think about it, Dawn was cursed to be a guy until the curse was reversed. So, in addition to Isabelle, Dawn is the other original female on the poster.

Funner fact about the banner: Two of the characters are guys. Three were originally guys. One is a construct.
I’m excluding the two AoA characters and the two statues from my count and I’m not sure where three of the characters in the banner land in the categories (not caught up in those stories yet).
Everyone not accounted for is originally a girl and turned into a guy by a curse, but had the curse cured.

If the glyphs were made by grey mask, how would he know the language as he is a non blood. Since chapter 7 is called fading hope, each main character will go through a path that ultimately destroys whatever hope they have in a goal (Leona and Nikki will most likely fail in turning back, Chris will have no chance out the game (or Isabel or Alstair will get trapped with him), Russel will most likely get captured or lose his son. Is he? Seems pretty unlikely, since the modifications he put in place clearly require magic to implement.
It could be that he is working with or for a real mage.
Non bloods can learn magic as shown in Awakening with Miss Reed, but they require ingredients and strong wills and bodies to be able to use and handle it properly. Also Grey Mask in page 1 stole a backpack of spells from the guy he killed there.
