“*Grey Mask* knew exactly what he was doing when he broke into Star Reach Studios. He knew how to make his injected code very difficult to trace, and he knew where to go to avoid getting caught. He’s on the loose, and none of them know yet just how serious his breach was.”
I'm excited to announce that fellow Flash animator, Chris Niosi AKA Kirbopher, will be staring in our upcoming series Undercover Agent!

boy that company is so dumb it ain’t funny having the backup to the software in the same place as the original . how stupid can they be.
I somehow doubt anyone could change every version of code they have stored that quickly, even with full access and technical know-how. As for finding a change in code, that takes seconds at most for a computer to do.
How could a system like this not be running on separate servers, by the way? Assuming it is like every other MMORPG, updates roll out at each server at different times, just in case something goes wrong and updated servers need to be taken down.
The hacker character hacked and acted like a real life hacker. Please don’t make him magic and please don’t go into his story more. He is good as a problem setter to create conflict for ththe comic. Plus he might have wanted the millions of users who will be knocked out while they are playing to cause mass panic, health risks, and or rob them.
The guy had a colt 45 I doubt he was a bloodline member
Since when do hackers use handguns while actively hacking? Answer: they don’t.
Unless this guy is a member of dedsec
guess you have to take the good………with the bad……….
Awesome kirbopher is doing something for undercover agent he’s awesome
I want some FTM goodness!!!!
Something tells me two things. 1. This comic is heavily inspired by SAO and 2. The guy in the mask is blood wizard of some kind.
No, this comic is not “heavily inspired” by “Sword Art Online” for several reasons. One, SAO wasn’t the first to tell the “people trapped in a video game” story, so even if it were heavily inspired by anything, it wouldn’t be SAO, but the first of that particular type of story, like “Tron” or the “.hack” series. Two, there’s a very good chance Sam hasn’t even seen SAO, and even if she has, it would have been after production on “Makers’ Game” started. You can’t be inspired by something you’ve never seen. Three, the only thing “Maker’s Game” and SAO… Read more »
Also the guy was just using a common pistol I he was a bloodline member
Maybe he deleted the files that stored the players original bodies?
That doesn’t make a lick of sense.
If the players minds really are in the game and not with their bodies anymore, then maybe he erased the data that tracks which mind came from which body, in which case players logging off could end up finding themselves being put into any body attached to the system wearing one of those headsets.
AMEN…..
That would only delete the files containing information on the original bodies. It wouldn’t delete their bodies. Their bodies still exist in the real world. That would be like deleting a photo of someone off your phone and expecting that would kill that same person. There’s a difference between a digital creation and the real world.
Unless you’re Amish. 🙂
