I kinda wonder if the game… isn’t a game at all? Maybe its something that a mage made? A alternate world?
That’s an interesting idea. It would be similar to an arc in Hunter X Hunter. Bunch of magic set up to facilitate game systems, but the environment itself is a real place somewhere.
