(Be sure to read my last journal if you haven’t already.)
Yep I did tell them. It went much better than I expected. Everyone was not only very supportive, but also very proud to see how successful the site has become. I was expecting them to try and convince me to stay in school and that this wasn’t everything it was cracked up to be. However, after showing them the numbers, they have all agreed with me that pursuing this dream is the best thing to do.
So with their blessings and those stats continuing to be amazing, I’ve decided to drop out of college and do this full time!!!
I know many of you commented in the last journal that I shouldn’t drop out, but I have my reasons to do this. With my increased work load at school this semester, it is simply not possible to do animations and school at the same time. I haven’t even had the time to make one animation since school started. If the site falls apart at some point or something bad happens, I can always go back to school to resume my degree with all the credits I’ve earned so far. However, if I gave all this up and stayed in school, the site would completely die and I would lose this very promising opportunity.
For my immediate plans, Model Parent 2 is nearly done and I hope to post it by Sunday or Monday. It’s been forever since a chapter of Stealing From Sis was made, so I promise that will be next after Model Parent.
Over the next several weeks I will start going through the site and make some major overhauls. I want to get user accounts, forums, and comments working ASAP. I’m teaching myself everything I can about more advanced programming so that I will be able do all that.
To sum it all up, thank you so much everyone. My dream would not be coming true if it were not for the support of all my fans. I love you guys for helping to make this happen!!
Since anonymity is no longer a concern, I better introduce myself.
Hello everyone, my name is Sam.

You know, Sam, people like you always brings a lot of new and interesting in many different fields of activity. Henry Ford, and Coco Chanel, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates…, can continue for a long time, and this list will contain the names of the different countries and times.
In the Internet there is a small realm of TG-Art, and you’re one of the few people who raised this field to a new level, sacrificing something for youreself and going forward to your dream.
I sincerely wish you success and good luck!
P.S. Sorry for my english. 🙂
Thank you so much for that, though I wouldn’t compare myself to Bill Gates. Here’s to hoping that raising the bar will be a great thing for the whole community, and will make up for the sacrifices I’m making to see it happen.
Your English is just fine by the way. =)
Well, you don’t need to quit school entirely. (IMO) Although you are great at what you do, people tend to take classes to learn how to do their job better, and more efficiently (faster). If you do not like what your school provides, just remember, Digital art is a HUGE market and bound to have tons of local classes. Or maybe you just want those extra transfer point, who knows? My brother does full time work, but is taking 1 class at a time. For you, that would be easier. You are technically a free-lancer/sole proprietorship owner, which means if… Read more »
Hey I would just like to let you know how much I think of you, you are great at what you do, and I am so excited for what is to come. That is why I believe this site is so important to you, so I just want to let you know that I, and I’m sure so many others, support you 100%.
Looking forward to your future success, Morgan
Thank you so much. I really hope this all works out in the long run so that you all can keep getting loads of new videos, and so that I can do this as a career. The site may not be as sustainable as I first thought, but I’m trying everything I can to turn it around.
My name is Trey and I will do the same! This is a great site, and good luck!
Hey im Alexia! I love your work and will try to support you with feedback and advice!
