I am only here for some animations; like GIC or SBS; with a more consistent plot. I feel the same like you about the last comics and all the magic stuff.
I thought the whole wish granting subplot was just a page filler. It didn’t really go anywhere and was basically used as a way to plug in a threesome into the comic which I think is the biggest issue with this comic was the amount of unnecessary sex that were basically page fillers and didn’t do anything for story or character development. Just my two cents.

There is no reason for him to keep changing into Caroline. He has money saved up, he has a magic dog who can make his body ripped or slender or whatever he needs to model, he can explain the lack of recent work history with a simple excuse like a family problem or an illness and time spent getting back in shape.
