“What?! Lorraine helped out Brooke? I mean, I’m glad she did, but why would she?”

One word, Oliver:
Leverage.

(Cue the show’s theme song)

in previous comics it’s been said that sorcerers are normally pretty wealthy as they have the advantage over nonblood colleagues but I’m wondering how many outperform their colleagues and how many abuse their powers to manipulate nonbloods like Lorraine seems to be doing?
and what limits are there to how far they can go?

I…I got no fucking clue now. The evidence seems to show Lorraine might be the bad guy (even though everyone’s forgetting the sneaky conniving witches like a few months ago in that Indypanda) but there’s evidence that her faults are actually good…I keep running all these things in my good/evil decrypter but all it keeps adding up is.. “Lorraine is just flawed”

Oh CMON!! We have to make clear conscience black and white labeling! Otherwise you’re just making it seem like you’re writing…CHARRRR-Ac-TERS!! Ughh! Disgusting!

Lorraine is evil. By hooking up Brooke, she knows that Oliver will have a harder time stopping the Caroline train because by doing so he will hurt Brooke. This might be the most underhanded thing she has done.

Precisely. By helping Brooke, she’s tying Oliver even more deeply to Caroline’s life through emotional bonds, in addition to the financial ones. To give up on being Caroline now, he’d have to turn away from an incredible income *and* a chance to work professionally with his best friend/girlfriend.

Or if he did refuse, he would be ruining her career as well.

I feel like Lorraine is going to try and ruin this

Lorraine is getting Brooke business so she is too busy to see Oliver. Simple as. (Sorry to all those who may have said this before, but it’s pretty obvious)
