I’m glad he gets his one night with Miyuki. I don’t think she would have minded, even if he was fully female, but it gives him one last thing to share with her before that happens. I don’t like that it’s coming at the cost of him betraying his friends. It’s pretty selfish. Of course, that’s probably something he needs to learn from, & likely will later in the story.
