As the comic began I hated these characters and was enjoying watching them squirm. Now however, some of the fun has gone out of it for me. Ever since Blake said ” Now I guess we are transgender.”, it shook me up that I was rooting for them to become what I have always been- just in reverse. Reading today’s strip I am remembering my tweens- watching helplessly as my body marched along towards being the gender I didn’t want to be. I hope Isabelle tracks down this rogue shard and puts things to right.
