Most likely not. The Sapphire Foxx team has spoken in the past about how they want this series to be non-magical.
If you mean like how Cinder Isle didn’t have many characters who could use magic, then yes. Because there is going to be zero magic in Favors and Followers. Sam has said multiple times that this is a non-magic comic.

It’s been said several times throughout the comic that Jackie is Darren’s sister. On the first page that Darren was introduced, he talked about Jackie being his sister and not caring about her going through beauty school. The comic has been stressing multiple times that Darren and Jackie are brother and sister.
On yesterday page, maybe Thad is the one (Noobmaster) who killed LukeNukeEm so easily since the round started from page 1.
