Nopers. This is just one WEEK. We’ve got lots of time to anticipate how Luke will eventually wind up looking as Lara… and how the dynamic of the friendship with Darren will change, too…
It’s a little tough to follow, but what’s happening on this page is that we see Luke’s progression over the course of two weeks, then Darren’s progression over the course of the same two weeks. Then the final panel is the two of them together after the two weeks is up.
This is not good…. No guy is gonna lose muscle tone and drop weight to dress up as a girl for his friend, unless hes gay or a crossdresser – this series makes ZERO sense….
There’s this thing called “loyalty”.
There’s another called “compassion”.
Beyond that, Luke himself is quite aware of how easily he can ‘sculpt’ his body with changes in diet in exercise. He could actually trim down into the target shape for Lara’s body, date Darren for a while, and then ‘let him go’ when Darren builds up the confidence to look for a better match.
But most importantly, people make mistakes. Quite a few other stories on this site start from that premise. And the mistakes in question aren’t always the ones the readers think they are…
Clearly there are guys who would be willing to do just that. We’re watching one right now. Just because you don’t know anyone who would do that doesn’t mean no one would. This just shows the lengths that Luke is willing to go to help the people he cares about and how good of a friend he is. Besides, Luke has more of a reason for doing this than just helping Darren, and all the proof you need is in the title. If you hate the comic that much, then stop reading it. No one is forcing you to read this. Plus then it would save us from more of your disrespectful comments.
Just because you’re not enjoying the series doesn’t mean we feel the same way as you, nor does that mean the series should end prematurely just to satisfy your selfish wish.
