Luke is a terrible person. honestly I hope he loses his friends over this. Leading his friend on with a lie.

Its obvious that its gonna happen. We’ll probably find out that Luke was always attracted to me (probably bisexual) and love to be a woman. That’s literally the best option for him.

I don’t think lying makes Luke a terrible person. People lie all the time and lying by itself is not a terrible thing. There are such things as good lies, and what Luke is doing for Darren is a good lie. He wants to help Darren regain his confidence and pretending to be a woman who’s interested in him is the only way he can think of helping his best friend. I don’t see that as a bad thing since Luke’s heart is in the right place.
I disagree completely, he is lying and putting false feelings to his friend. think how humiliated his friend will feel if he finds out oh his friend invented a woman for him. This doesn’t read as caring for his friend more, I won’t admit I made a small lie. Oh and of course he is parlaying this fraud into streaming online. I don’t doubt that Darren will find out about Luke’s deception one day. But I would guess that day will not come until Darren has his own girlfriend and it is then safe to tell Darren the truth. If Luke waits that long, Darren won’t feel humiliated because he’ll realize Luke helped him out of a difficult spot. He might even realize that he’d have Luke to thank for his current relationship with another girl. I can’t say that I agree with your logic. Luke lies to his friend to help him, therefore he’s a sociopath? Put yourself in Luke’s position – your best friend has zero confidence in themselves and is too afraid to start a relationship because of their fear of rejection.
