yep i knew that ana would say yes that she and Jackie would help Luke with his plan. and i wonder will that voice synthesizer that he picked up would help pull in more viewers and convince Darren that Lara is a real woman and not just a part of a plan that Luke set up . and i wonder if Luke is starting to really like being Lara .
Bruh, its very obvious that Lara will eventually replace Luke at this point. lol This isn’t just crossdressing anymore. lol
“replace” is an odd choice of words, given that Lara is Luke. All he’s doing is changing his appearance.
mooooooore plzzzz
“Maybe having a hot female voiced would help bump up the number of donations” bad ideal as you are now getting into fraud as now pretending someone else’s to deceive for profit.
This should be included. Disclaimer. This is a work of fiction, copying the action portrayed in this story, can lead to arrest, conviction and jail time.
No. On all accounts, you’re wrong. Luke is not committing fraud. It is not a crime to pose as someone else on the internet. No one is going to say that Luke is committing crime because that wouldn’t make for a good comic. The audience would hate that idea, so Sam isn’t going to do that. Luke is not stealing anyone’s identity since Lara doesn’t exist, so there’s no crime being committed. And even if Lara existed, there’s no law that says Luke can’t pretend to be her on the internet. Look at the example everyone brings up with this… Read more »
There is a reason Sam does the website a cetin way, to protect himself and to protect his business, yes this is a business, Sam also knows or has access to a lawyer to advise on what he can legally do. As an example if some bozo decides this storyline would to make some money in the real world, and gets caught. The Federal Communications Commission, and The Internal Revenue Service would take a vested interest in the doing on this site, as in Sam doing some money laundering? And this why I try to watch what I add, if… Read more »
It’s not fraud nor identity theft, because he’s not pretending to be someone else. The “person” he’s pretending to be doesn’t actually exist (strictly speaking, neither does he, but I meant “in universe”). Creating a character and pretending to be said character is not illegal. Pretending to be another existing person is.
A simphot? Like a predalien?
How is he going to talk with a feminine voice without the synthesizer? He can’t very well carryout with him on a date or when he’s with Ana?
It was mentioned below, but this universe does have a leg up technologically, its probably a choker or some kind thing you stick in your mouth…
sahara desert menu?
Wait a second. Is that the kind of voice synthesizer that can be somehow fitted near his mouth or something? I think that’s the case here, because otherwise, there’s no way he’d suggest going out with them as Lara.
Well if you look at stuff like yesterdays animation, there are those necklaces and stuff to get the voice to change. I think he might be referring to that.
That necklace was obviously magical from yesterdays animation.
Good Point, it probably is but stuff like Ghost skin is imo also magic.
Considering how it kindoff literally is fusing with your skin. Especially if you look at the one we saw in the final episode of GIC.
And they sell stuff like that to non magi.
Dammit! Now I have to watch GIC, you made me curious!
