so Darren want’s to become a hunk for Lara oh boy Luke is really going to have to help Darren bulk up for Lara. i wonder how will Luke do it besides exercise and rigorous training and supplements.
Luke does realize he is Catfishing their friend right?
Fairly certain that he doesn’t consider it ‘catfishing’. And I’m leaning toward interpreting it as something else, myself. Yes, Luke hasn’t thought out the possible ramifications of his plan (especially the possibility of getting caught), but the basis of the plan stems from an urge to help, to give, rather than mocking him or stealing his money.
Luke, you might want to give yourself a bit (lot) more time to prepare yourself. One month will go by quicker than a day in 2020…
Since this is set in the SF universe, which is not a one-for-one translation of our world, I kinda doubt that they’re going through what we’re going through. They’re actually able to go to bars and we haven’t seen a single mask. So I don’t think Covid exists in the SF universe.
And the absence of Covid is just one more reason for me to really envy the SF universe…
Super hero or space sci-fi? Can we just vote for both?
Sam has mentioned that both genres will eventually get made into a comic on this website. The point of this new poll is to decide which one will be made into a comic first. So a “both” option wouldn’t help to decide which will come first.
I know, it can be sci-fi superheroes
It’s sort of a Camptown race to see if Luke can get into Lara persona, and get Darren self-esteem up to the tasks, without putting too many false bravado, or tuning into a bowl of Jellow. Last but least, how dose Luke keep this from spinning out of control and heading down the primrose path? So boys and girls, while you can stock up on your popcorn and soda pop, I think we are in for a long and wild ride. “The Campptown ladies sing this song, Doo-da, Doo-da The Camptown racetrack’s five miles long Oh, de doo-da day Goin’… Read more »
The way i always heard that last line was “Somebody bet on The Bay”. its a song about horse racing
[Steven] Foster quite specifically tailored the song for use on the minstrel stage. He composed it as a piece for solo voice with group interjections and refrain … his dialect verses have all the wild exaggeration and rough charm of folk tale as well as some of his most vivid imagery … Together with “Oh! Susanna“, “Camptown Races” is one of the gems of the minstrel era.”[6][7][8] Wikipedia Or The lyrics talk about a group of transients in a camp town who bet on horses to try to make some money. Being that betting on horses was considered immoral, the “Camptown ladies” may also have been shady.Jan… Read more »
Thanks, just checked the site and ‘Camptown’. 16 Jan 2019. It is ”gray” as you say it was. I think the ”five miles long” was only 2 & a half miles each way. Good site. Thanks again.
How is Luke going to lose his muscle mass in only a month?
Considering how deep he is digging himself into, Luke can use a little magic.
No magic here, this is a magic-free comic
And this is why we Dot-Da-Da-Dot-Dot-Dot-Dot-DaaaahhhhS-P-E-C-A-L E-F-F-E-C-T-S. (Light humor).
