I doubt Luke’s/Lara’s chances for some justice.
The legal system is imperfect and rich boy Karl has wealth, influence,
and computer expertise at his disposal. I hope I’m wrong.
Thank for skipping over Lara explaining what happened with Cypher to Darren, we the audience didn’t need to here it twice.
Darren’s going to open up a can of whoop-a$$ on a certain perv.
That officer looks familiar, like maybe a transfer from cinder Isle?
Well this takes place like 20 years after Cinder Isle so probably not.
Feels like Lara is getting off way too easy. She’s been lying and manipulating for a good bit and with little consequence. A few hours ago, she was ready to bang her neighbor and now with a little ‘love confession’, she’s ready to change
I knew that she would get off easy anyway. I had a feeling.
The Comics view is: Lara made some silly little mistakes while trying to learn who she was. She was horny and exploring her new self. Her real self. Now everyone please accept lara as the true LGBT hero that she is. After all, she has been having to deal with karl, the trans perv –
That and the comic is coming to an end. So the rush acceptance of anything for the happy ending is in full effect. That and the spaceships want to land for christmas!
Kinda like what happened with Cinder Isle, only, Cinder Isle was good.
I can’t remember the ending of Cinder Isle that well but I did like Cinder Isle. Yeah.
After the Galea reveal, the story did a speedrun…..no, it was after Alistair was found that the series did a speedrun, but it clocked out after Galea was revealed, and that she got her wish.
Yeah, he definitely already knew beforehand, or at least had some suspicions that Lara isn’t who she claims to be. His reaction seems too chill after such a reveal that would affect him the most out of everyone Lara knew.
That aside, yes please Darren, when you get home, kick the shithead’s ass!
it looks like all of Cypher Karl’s blackmailing plans for lara/ luke have backfired, sure it scared him/ her at first but in the end it made him/ her stronger and so far, everyone those phitis went to got even closer to Luke/Lara, so Cypher Karl is going down, Big time, and remember my last comment, it looks like Darren is about to proof my point
well darren took the news that his girl was also his male best friend . and that he’s still in love with her even though she is a transwoman now . and she finally told him about karl the blackmailer . and that he will be by her side . now all luke / lara has to do is explain to his / her fans and family the decision to become a transgendered woman and also about blackmailer karl and the problems he’s causing with the life of lara / luke . now i hope that the police / fbi… Read more »
Look I know love is love but if I’m Darren I have follow up questions. Especially how and maybe why. I’m just so conflicted with this comic. Great Darren is cool with it all but that’s a dangerous truth to withhold.
I second that. Luke has had it too easy for all the shit he has caused for himself and his friends. At least the reveal by Cypher might cause some actual consequences, but everyone who’s closest to Luke already knows and seems to be fine with the whole thing. Darren is way too relaxed, that I’m almost surprised he didn’t say that he had knew all along. I just don’t buy this reaction as a realistic portrayal. There has been so much unused potential and anti-climactic tension in this comic…
Luke/Lara already did tell Darren the original reason to why he/she became Lara.
