I don’t think Karl is cypher. The caller eluded to a ‘sugardaddy’. Either Karl was referring to Darren or Cypher was referring to Karl. Still doesn’t explain why Karl would intentionally set up Stephen just because Karl thinks he’s a loser. Karl may be a disgusting piece of trash but I don’t think he’s cypher.
Let’s go over the context of that bit of the phone call: Lara: So, what’s up? Where have you been? I need my biggest fan to give me my biggest donations. Cypher: I see you’re becoming dependent on your sugar daddy. I could give you donations if you… Lara clearly is referring to Cypher as her biggest fan and stated that she needed him to give some big donations. Cypher’s statement then that she is growing dependent on her sugar daddy is therefore clearly referring back to “her biggest fan.” In other words, Cypher is calling himself her sugar daddy.… Read more »
