Nope. There will never be any magic or spells used in this comic at any point. That was made clear before this comic even started.
It’s just that Luke is starting to find men attractive after all the texts he’s been getting from Cypher. His mind is being overwhelmed by it all.
He’s bisexual
IMO people’s sexuality doesn’t change until they take action to change it. Luke was not born bisexual, he’s becoming bisexual. But he’s not there yet, and won’t be there until he actually does something sexual with a man. Having thoughts about finding men attractive does not make him bisexual, just like having gay thoughts doesn’t make you gay.
