Besides Mom’s odd behavior towards her kids’ privacy here, is she wearing a party/cocktail mini-dress and high-heel sandals this Sunday morning?

The mom character is just an awful person. Years later she will wonder why she is stuck in a nursing home and her kids haven’t had contact with her in decades

guesses for the next few pages…

Option 1: The kids demonstrate the transformation for mom.
Option 2: Mom, transforms herself like Hunter did by pressing the glowing runes together.

Both very possible… but I guess the second one is more probabel, since it could just happen out of carelessness

Hunter leaving something that *glows in the dark* with a weird occult-looking symbol out on a countertop while he slept was exceptionally boneheaded. Unfortunately, it’s a common issue with Asian households. As long as you live with your parents, even if you’re already an adult, you’re still at their mercy. No privacy whatsoever.

Moving out is also not so easy, due to lack of affordable housing options and below-than-minimum wage for entry-level jobs. Heck, even if you do move out, some are still expected to support your parents by sending money to them.

Seeing Courtney have this lack-of-privacy mindset, while a pretty wild one where they live, is nothing new to me.

It is true. Courtney did realize her children were overly possessive of the stones and took them. Time to come clean Hunter and Lindsey.
