I admit that there’s a lot to wrap up in Different Perspectives. Chris and Christina are still fighting, there’s an unfolding problem with Jessica, and there’s all the mystery involving where Chris’s powers came from.
I don’t have an exact number of pages, but this will be longer than Shifting Roommates was. DP will more than likely end in the high 300’s if not ending on page 400.
However, there’s some scenes that might end up being cut to keep it at 400 or less. These aren’t critical to the story, but are entertaining scenes for the audience. I don’t want to spoil things, but there might be two to three scenes on the cutting block, with the main one being Chris’s Prom night (he’s not going as himself). I don’t want DP to drag on too long, but people may not want to miss some good content.
The question is, would you rather have these extra scenes included, or would you rather keep DP 400 pages or less?

I know the poll is already over but I just wanted to make a point that any decision you have about keeping or adding a scene should be based in character development. That’s pretty much what comics like this are about since the story is being written as things go and is more about them than some conflict or end goal (at least that’s how I see it). If the scene helps flesh out a character more or add more depth than it should definitely be put in. Otherwise, it just becomes filler. You probably knew this, but I thought… Read more »
I would concur as well, Cheddar…
Luv DP, would luv to see Christina get it on with the lovely Derrick xxx
Love this comic, the story is good for 600 pages :-))
btw what will piercings do?
How about a side portfolio section with rough sketches of the extra scenes that you wanted to add? It can be acknowledged that it is not a finished product, but more story boarding for the completionists in all of us. Just have it in a separate section of storyboard vignettes.
I like Different Perspectives a lot and think it has and can still go to some great places. I would hate to see it cut short, especially if there’s still stuff you wanted to do but chose not to because other people.
I agree with the past comments. I think it would be a good idea to consider Double Page Saturday’s…
Read below the comment posted from SapphireFoxx — it would be the death of him (translation: a lot more work). I didn’t realize that seconding such a suggestion for ‘daily double’ would’ve significantly increased your workload., Foxx…sorry. 🙁
Foxx, since you are the ‘master blaster’ here, and this is your ‘universe’, you (ultimately) have the final word. Have you decided on what course of action you wish to take? I think it safe to state that quite a few of the members here have thought up some really good suggestions or alternative solutions.
My question is, if scenes are completed, why not release more than one a day? It would allow you to include all the content that you want, but speed up the comic/shorten the length.
that’s a good idea , maybe double pages at the weekend?
seconded
i agree. If you extend the comic, please release moré than one page a day.
I (and it looks like a lot of other people) think this story is fantastic and don’t mind it continuing on longer.
