One member on Page 496 indicated that the ending to this story saga might be similar to the video game, Mass Effect 3. I could very easily see that happening. Here are the 3 endings put into the context of ME3:

Destroy all mutated Glumine, including the converted humans and Zinarians (quote: “The needs of the manner outweigh the needs of the few…or the one.”)

Control the Glumine into a new artificial intelligence, creating a galactic peacekeeping force.

Synthesize all organic and synthetic life, which should result in both life forms achieving a perfect understanding of one another.
