Here is a thought, just a passing one mind you, what if that is not Garra in the armor, but instead it is temptress doing an impression of Garra and she took out that one as a distraction so no would know it was her in the armor?
I only say that because I feel like temptress would not be taken out off screen with a quick line mentioning it.
Other option is Temptress is controlling Garra instead of in the suit herself.
If this the case, I hope that Temptress turns D’Ante into a super bimbo then. lol
Might just be me projecting on how much I think I would enjoy at least early stages of the transformation myself. Wouldn’t want anything messing with my head though, but yeah I would like to see d’ante to be the last male on the ship and because of his past none of the women want anything to do with him. A simple transformation at this stage would be letting him off to easy. I want him to reach a point where he begs for it and yet it is still denied to him.

Personally don’t think there is anything sus with Garra, yeah he was a bit arrogant with his crewmates early on and led dick first when Janet showed up, but we know that’s down to his youth and the pheromones ?
