Why would they need so many life pods in a space station of this type?
Walking in heels while in stealth seems a tad daft

Males developed a secondary, primitive brain (leading to atrophy of primary brain) – as evidenced by d’Ante
Women developed and evolved their leg tendons / muscles making flat heels impossible to wear.
So d’Ante is the most evolved male in the crew, and the glumine are truely helping the women to evolve.
It seems to be a universe wide evolution as even the Zinarians are wearing wedge heels.
Sometimes, you just have to accept “Rule of Sexy” and move on. 🙂
