I think you are all being a little paranoid. I mean just because every attack by Temptress has started with a communications blackout, you’re all leaping to assumptions that Temptress has something to do with it! It could be anything! Maybe their communicators have all failed at exactly the same time – so they should all break line of sight on each other (in case rebooting interferes with other communicators in line of sight), turn their communicators off, wait a reasonable time, say 2 hours, and then turn them on again (assuming they can still remember how!). I don’t think Temptress has been responsible for any of the previous attacks. Remember, she was just as dumb as any other glumine before she absorbed Commander’s intelligence and memories.
That doesn’t mean she’s necessarily blameless here, though…
Communications disruption can only mean one thing:
Invasion.

You cannot fast travel when enemies are nearby.
