For those who are unaware of this, the “Bechdel Test” is real. It was named after and created by a cartoonist, Alison Bechdel. The test is a measure of the representation of women in fiction. It asks whether a work features at least two women who talk to each other about something other than a man. The requirement that the two women be named is sometimes added. This is the first I’ve heard of that test. So what I researched about the Bechdel test is that to pass it,
(1) The scene has to have at least two women in it,
(2) They talk to each other, and
(3) Their conversation is about something besides a man.
a relationship without love based solely on lust is a hallow thing and will break down in time. both in volved will come to resent each other.
