Since when does the Commander have fresh-cut roses and a vanity desk appear so out of character? I realize that I’m probably stereotyping, but the vanity desk doesn’t look like something that a manly character, such as the Commander, would have. Am I wrong, or does this setting look out of place?
High heels were also considered manly a thousand years ago when it was invented.
What may seem odd or out-of-place to us may not be the case for their universe and time period. It’s not really a big deal if the Commander wants roses on his desk, honestly…

With how both of their backstories got shown now, I think that both Arianne and Jackson will get ambushed by the Glumine at the same time, like how it was with Noreli and the director.
Do you think it’ll be one glumine, or a cluster like with Drake?
We don’t yet know what a woman who gets transformed by a Glumine becomes. Will she just get even hotter, like the ladies in Cinder Isle? Or will something else entirely happen?
I rather the woman becomes a hot af himbo tbh, but a sexier cis woman works with me as well.

Hyperspace communication, Sci-fi bs’s reasons for real time communication all the time.
They clearly have faster-than-light travel in this universe. You literally could not have an intragalactic civilization without it. So instantaneous communication is completely believable.
Remember, this is 2000 years in the future. We have absolutely no idea what’s possible after a few millennia of advancing our knowledge of how the universe really works.
