HOLY SHIT! I WAS RIGHT!
Everytime someone said something like ‘we’re save around here’, in the same page or the next something like a ‘sluuurp’ was written in big letters as well. I’m eager to see if this pattern repeats again.
And:
What was she doing there? She seemed shocked that they came.
‘There is nothing around to hurt any of us.’
She could even say that, knowing the glumine are there and acknowledging that what they do is not ‘hurting’. Hell, she might even be already transformed and working for/them with them, having been assimilated.
Am I getting paranoid? Oh yeah:
‘If you ask me, you two are being overly paranoid.’
I figured when I first saw her, I thought that she was already transformed.
I have a feeling a plot twist is coming up.
Oh yeah! There are two of those now, aren’t there.
I like her she’s a thinker. the Glumine hasn’t taken a life as I seen it. in fact it seams to have upgraded those who it has in countered.
64,000 people missing. Not upgraded and seen everywhere. No, there is something sinister here. A guess would be that there is a master glumine somewhere, perhaps the size of a stadium, that all the upgrades eventually are drawn to and absorbed.
Garra: This is war. Survival is your responsibility.
well garra and leeroy found the detective and she was okay . and she also found a clue . but they will find a surprise clue when they get back to the rhino . boy i wish i was there to see their faces that would be priceless .
Goddamn Garra.
That’s just Cold.
It’ll be LOL funny when he turns.
Cold? You haven’t seen cold! Come to Minnesota during the wint….. ooohhhh that kind of cold XD
How about installing some kind of energy level checker/tracker onto each of their armors? That way, if one of the crew members’ armor gets drained very quickly, the other crew members would get notified immediately, and the abnormal decrease in energy would be a big indicator of a Glumine attack to them. Relying on comms seems to be pretty ineffective so far.
good Idea but who said that thy didn’t already have it ?
This is horror story logic though; being smart ruins most horror stories unless there’s a cosmic entities, there’s no way of winning.
That’s not really true anymore. Almost all new horror stories have intelligent characters now, including this one. I’d say that a lot of characters are intelligent in Crossfire, especially Noreli, Garra, the Commander and Taylor. It’s just that their enemy catches them off guard, but that doesn’t make them dumb.
It sure doesn’t seems like it to me.
I’d say every action that the Crossfire crew has taken so far can be logically explained and makes sense if you stop and think about it from their perspective. There are no dumb horror tropes in this comic, and everyone is acting intelligent given the circumstances.
