How would they be able to do that? They don’t have the ability to swap between their two genders at will. It went from both of them being women to just Natalie being a woman. Since they started dating, Natalie has only ever been a woman. So there was never a time where they could have been a gay male couple.
Alastair giving the bracelet to Natalie is similar to what he did for Kyle in Fractured. Damon did a similar thing for Riley in Halloween Switch. However a difference between Alastair and Damon is that Alastair actually cares about people’s feelings while Damon could care less about them and cares more about avoiding getting in trouble with the law (when he got in trouble with the DSC, he had to beg Ashley to save his neck because he was probably going to be sent to jail for breaking two arcane laws). I think it is a one way street. As in as soon as they put it on they will transform back to Nathan permanently. But I might have miss understood it.
Then again, Alistair didn’t say permanently. He said it would let her turn back into Nathan.
True but it would make more sense in my opinion. Alistair isn’t the kind of men that would give something like that if it could be used as a toy. He sees there is no curse in her so he might think this might be the romance talking. So Alistair gives her a backup plan if she ever feels like it was a mistake staying female.

Gender change is not just for the cursed anymore! Wish TG people could become fertile members of the opposite sex. Come to think on it, I also wish it could be magic too, no horrendous medical bills to pay, not even for the government if you have national health.
