Hmmm…. Interesting! Can’t wait to see what Alistair has to say. Great comic so far!
Oh goodie my favorite part: EXPOSITION DUMP
YAAAAAAAAAYYYY
Yikes. Guys that comment wasn’t sarcasm. I genuinely want to know what the deal is. Holy shit cmon. O.o

Another thing, now i kind of want to see the comic wrap things up on the island but then we get a mini series of Alistier cleaning up the loose ends of all the red water they shipped off. Like how we had the heist following Fractured.
I would love to see that.
If alistar can fly, why can’t he help put himself back together…
My first thought
I don’t really remember but I think the answer is in fractured.
He probably only has enough power to levitate himself, but not enough to use any complex spells.
I just binged this whole comic and it is hands down my new favorite.
My guess is the ghosts are spirits that were left imprited in the curse orbs. Like they were the ones Alisteir cured in the past and a small part of them remained in the orbs but when the orbs decade and leaked out their spirits cane back as echos. I think they are like accidental non physical constructs or something.
Mine is Shifting Roommates. And I don’t know if Cinder Isle will top that, completely depends on how it ends!
I wonder if my Bloodlines theory from way back will hold. Can’t wait to see how this goes.
And Sandy and Natty, huh? Nice nicknames, Girl.
I’ve honestly been taking that as cannon ever since I read your comment. The speech bubble colours are a little too well-aligned with the bloodline powers they use and they’ve mentioned phrases like “non-bloods”.
Whether their bloodlines will actually be explained in the plot of the comic, or if it’s just a product of good writing (keeping background characters consistent with the lore) remains to be seen.
I appreciate that. Well, we’ll see soon enough.
I just read up on that theory of yours and i definitely think you’re onto something but adding to that we still dont know exactly what shattered Alistier to begin with so what if that has something to do with it. We saw his layer seemed to be set up for some kind of ritual that either went wrong and caused an earthquake or was interrupted by a natural quake witch is what shattered Alistier anyway. But what if he was trying to cast a ritual involving all 9 bloodlines? We learned in Ashes to Ashes that some sorcerors can… Read more »
Alistair insists on keeping the reason of the explosion secret from everyone, so if that would be revealed to us, it would be some inner monologue of his when he’s alone. But if he’s willing to share the reason of the ghosts’ existence, then probably it’s not related much to the explosion.
That’s an interesting theory about the ghosts’ existence, though.
???
Zoey and Gavin are “busy.”
Certainly not THAT kind of “busy” since Gavin isn’t sexually attracted to Zoey.
True, but Gaela/Gavin is still willing to have sex with Zoey because she enjoys. Then again, that may have changed now that Gaela has come out.
