So – for now – Mrs Sparkles doesn’t appear to be the blood monster. OK. Here’s another hypothesis – it’s a curse placed by a medicine man of a long destroyed Native American nation, decimated through genocide by New World settlers. Even though the locals no longer exist, the curse continues to ‘live’. The curse is not a living entity, but a culmination of feels and emotions resulting from the genocide.
