So something has been bugging me since I read this page…what sport is Chase specifically referring to? He only talks about “the game” so it could be any sport. I doubt it’s football or baseball, given that this is happening in late April when there still might be loads of snow on the ground. I lean more towards wrestling or basketball since that can be played indoors, but wouldn’t the school have second thoughts about allowing contact sports because of the risk of someone getting injuries that could draw blood, thus potentially spreading the virus? Any safety precautions that must be taken depends on the sport being played. Plus you really can’t avoid injuries in basketball or wrestling outside of just not playing the game. The only way to ensure the risk of spreading the virus doesn’t happen is if it’s a non-contact sport like baseball or flag football.
So let them play volleyball dodgeball or whatever sport that really doesn’t promote physical contact.
Very vague indeed. How about touch football outside when they can and volley ball as a second indood/outdoor sport?
