well I’ve got to hand it to Natalie she’s keeping a level head when it comes to her new gender and helping her dad now mom cope with this recent development. and i wonder when junior detective Gavin will find out what happened at the pool.

Well now Zoey has no real choice but to admit it. They’re going to figure it out. I really don’t understand why a magic gender bending disease can be killed by chlorine. But okay, that’s a thing.

Also so… are we just never going to touch on Satan’s bastard child in the forest again? Or the murderous ghosts?

The virus does follow some real world principles. Namely, like most viruses that would get most people sick with cold/flu-like symptoms, it cannot survive in a antimicrobial environment, such as a chlorinated pool. On its own, chlorine will dissolve all organic material until there’s nothing left and is extremely dangerous (which also rules out injecting the infected with chlorine – it would kill the virus, but it would also kill the infected). Clearly it does follow those rules. I think that’s silly though. The whole concept of magic is defying nature. That a magical thing has to follow some but not all natural rules is just strange in my opinion.

One of the great things about Sam’s use of magic is that it has all fit within the rules of nature. The best example of that is the whole bloodline thing – you can’t use magic if it’s not apart of your lineage in one way or another, while your bloodline also determines which form of magic you excel at. The energy to use magic is derived from mana, the natural energy of the planet. It won’t be long till someone figures out how the virus got in the pool.
Now that Nathan/Natalie is infected, she’ll have to go though the same sex-ed class that Zoey and Gavin did.
I wonder how long till the virus mutates and more strains appear.
