You know, you can’t even get away with not seeing the biohazard symbol to excuse this. Nathan could clearly see that they were carrying this with GAS masks, they were transporting this stuff OFF the island (meaning they didn’t want it ON it), and they clearly must have wanted people to stay the F#$% away from this island for actual reasons. Maybe treat the unknown barrel with some respect and assume whatever contents shouldn’t be touched, even if only for material value? Exercise caution?
