Like all Journalists (?) they think they can go in and they will not be shot, infected, irradiated ect, because we have the First Amendment to protect us.

Hope The Coast Guard won’t shoot them on sight.
Sometimes, the truth is best kept hidden away from the pubic eye.
I wonder if they remembered to turn the transponder off?

I find it really hard to believe the Navy would miss a boat like that. But if they are so incompetent at cover ups then maybe this fictional US government is even LESS competent than the real one. And that’s a scary thought!

If the images and dialogue are to be believed, they’re on a tiny boat with all the lights off and the motor was cut once they got into the bay. Plus it probably helps that they’re doing this in the dead of night. It also sounds like there aren’t many navy patrol ships out. Considering that we haven’t heard of anything coming in or out of the bay since the epidemic started, until now, it makes sense the navy would have minimal surveillance of the bay.

Radar and sonar have existed since LONG before the 1990s. They wouldn’t be relying on eyesight or telescopes…

I would love if they turned out to be sorcerers.

If they were, why not then just teleport or something out to the island?

With all the eyes on the island, teleporting on and off the island could possibly expose the sorcerer’s secret.
