Those guns that the military police were using are none other than HK416, not M16. In fact, its appearance in 1996 is highly anachronistic to the timeline as it wasn’t produced and put into service until 2004.
Hmm come to think of it… I bet the government is hiding something beyond the truth from the rest of the townsfolk they don’t even realize they were all part of the experiment believing they’re in 1996 hence the appearance of certain historical inaccurate technologies like the guns. xD

Didn’t infectiousness tend to go away after the transformation completed? Peter’s transformation was extremely swift, and has been over for at least a few minutes by now.

With so many curses popping up so rapidly, I’m beginning to wonder whether or not Alistair will show up to clean all this mess up. Pretty sure some of the transformed were cursed to begin with…. but then Alistair has been pretty busy the world over throughout the ages…
