I’m just going to deposit this, probably wrong, theory: maybe the rumor that all guys’ sexualities being swapped was a rumor started by someone’s who was closeted or surpressed their attraction to guys, then when they were caught staring at a guy, the person made the excuse that the disease caused the attraction.
