To be honest, before this episode finally debuted, it got me some concerns that Ashley would have broken up with Holly for whatever reason Isabelle and/or Chris gave about Holly’s previous actions and made her side with Chris and Isabelle since we saw Ashley with Isabelle, Claire, and Chris in episode 11 of Awakening without Holly. Not only would it have brought the same wrong message from Matchmaker, but it would have also defeated the purpose of Ashley and Holly’s growth with themselves and each other (especially on episode 15).
i didn’t know how many canon relationships and story building with other characters there was in ashes to ashes
Isabelle, Chris, Robin, Riley, Alistair, Holly they all have key moments in ashes to ashes
I’m not sure how Ashley would react if she met Chris without knowing he’s Isabelle’s current boyfriend and without Isabelle being present. I’m pretty sure if she found out he’s Holly’s ex without Isabelle and Holly being present, she would have kicked him in the groin or some other violent act as payback as she (prior to this episode) perceives Chris as abusive based on what Holly told her in episode 8.
but Holly also told Ashley about how she made him tranform into other girls and that made him feel like she didn’t love the real him
It is here that Chris finally forgives Holly and no longer holds resentment towards her. In Maker’s Game, he never referred her by name at all (only referring her as “my ex”), indicating he still held resentment towards her at the time.
It’s good to see that Chris and Holly were able to put their past grudges aside and move forward.
Chris and Holly have changed quite a bit in the two years since they broke up.
From what we know in Awakening, Ashley was able to visit Seattle and meet Nora a few times before her death in Awakening 6.
With one episode left in Ashes To Ashes, I wonder what’s in store for them.
To be honest, I thought after Holly and Isabelle got into an argument, I thought Isabelle would (in her anger), tried to wipe Holly’s memory and/or read her mind to see if Holly was doing the same she had done in Matchmaker. Of course these would fail because not only would Ashley defend Holly, we shouldn’t forget that sorcerers can’t read Holly’s mind anymore due to Ashley’s mind protection spell from episode 8. For all of those who remember Two Sexy Errors, we shouldn’t forget that people aren’t defined by their mistakes and flaws. Holly did a lot of things… Read more »
Like Holly said in a previous episode, her ex boyfriend put a curse on her. I was honestly hoping that she would have asked Chris to remove that curse after they reunited with each other. But oh well, guess we’ll have to find out in the finale.
Jeez, look how far this franchise has come. We’re basically watching 4 characters interact from 3 initially unrelated series
At this point Getting into character is probably gonna crossover as well
Maybe Alysia meets Ashly when she goes to college, she sympathizes with being in the wrong body and offers to turn her either fully into a girl or give her a transformation stone to switch between Austin and Alysia. I could see it
