Am I wrong to want the snarky, negative, and judgmental Xavier back? Or at least a few uncouth zingers to go with all of the positivity.
I wonder how long Melody has been hanging out with Karen. Surely, it must be suspicious that she and her husband are never together in the same room?
While we can’t say for sure at the moment, it is possible that Karen and Claude could be in the same room at the same time through magic. The best known example of that are constructs. Karen could have made a Claude construct to look and act exactly like he would, or vice versa. If Claude can make good enough constructs, they can certainly fool Melody into thinking that they’re the real deal.
I can’t remember a character more annoying than Ashley’s mom. Might end up skipping the next episode just to avoid having to deal with her.
??? I’m not sure that I follow you. I thought that Melody acted like a pretty positive, supportive mother. In a way, she kinda reminds me of my own mother. How is she annoying, to the point that you’re considering giving up on this series?
Since you ask, her lines felt waaaaaaaaay too scripted, not like how people actually talk as I’ve seen in pretty much every single one of the animations on this site. Just one person’s opinion, though, really, and the rest of the episode was very enjoyable.

Did anyone notice that Ashley’s dream in the third episode with her talking to her mother as Ashley seem a little clairvoyant or is it just me?
It will probably go similar to what happened in foxtrot and different perspectives in the next episode. This is especially due to Claude liking being a girl and he will speak up to his family that he likes being a girl like Ashley.
