Really? If anything, I think Carmen had a disadvantage in the tournament, being such a new character who hasn’t undergone development in her story yet.
Despite that, she defeated a recent one-shot character, two recent animation series characters, another comic protagonist (also my personal favorite), and a legacy character. Carmen is just on a whole another level.
For me, that just proves that the SF team is still doing a good job making impactful and memorable stories and characters, and I love to see it continue.
Much of that is true, but Miss By Moonlight still being a really new comic still meant all of the attention was on her, hence me thinking she had an unfair advantage.
When we did the first waifu tournament, Favors and Followers was the new comic. Yet Lara still lost in the second round. By your logic, Lara should have won because “all of the attention was on her”
Carmen didn’t win the tournament because she was the new girl or because she had an unfair advantage. Carmen won fair and square and because, like JD said, she’s on a whole different level compared to any other SF girl. There is no unfair advantage to the protagonist of the ongoing comic. Carmen is just that much better.
Carmen’s such a beauty! It’s pretty amazing to see a new girl like her be so popular already. She deserves to be the new queen of SapphireFoxx.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament! Paul and I had fun hosting it. Here’s the latest tournament standing, if you’re curious. Congratulations, Carmen!

I’ll be honest. Carmen had a completely unfair advantage in this tournament, due to Miss By Moonlight still being a really new comic.
