One thing I found funny was that Alistair was having difficulty with the yoga poses when his body is a construct, a complete falsehood which he can surely manipulate however he desires. Surely such a thing should be trivial for him? Or is he intentionally limiting the construct to human movements so that he doesn’t accidentally do something inhuman and give himself away?
Jessica really has come a long way from being the brat we saw in Differing Perspectives. Pros: Excellent chemistry between Jessica and Alistair AS FRIENDS. I really hope they don’t hook up, though, for obvious reasons. Not a SINGLE animation goof in this one! Cons: Why did Alistair levitate the exercise matts when he KNOWS that’ll give himself away to AT LEAST one of the non-bloods present?! 9/10. We REALLY need more SF animations like The Night is Young. Late reply, but I agree with your last point. If I wanted that kind of content I would subscribe to SF Beyond
Dont give yourself away to non bloods says alistair while levitating the excercise matts!
So, I did a bit of research about the warrior pose.
The warrior pose is alternatively called “Virabhadrasana”, a Sanskrit term. The name’s origin came from a mythical Hindu warrior called “Virabhadra”. In the legend, each of the three warrior poses signify a different aspect of Virabhadra’s story.
Specific details aside, the warrior pose is meant to be a symbol of the warrior spirit, rather than a practical combat pose. Alistair could definitely use some of the benefits yoga has to offer.
Yes, it could be useful to Alistair’s sorcerer status.
Natalie and Shane in yoga –
Natalie: Let’s go Shane! This place is perfect for couples like us to relax from intense workout in gym. Yoga is another form of meditation to allow mental health benefits for everyone. It’s a great way to balance.
Shane: Intriguing, Nat. I love that you’re very knowledgeable on other physical activities.
Natalie: Thanks babe. Strong mind, strong body. We’re going to have a spiritual experience during this session.
It’s nice to see Madelyn and Trent in good business of yoga
