Gary freaked out to the point of a nervous breakdown.
A sex scene in a tense episode like this was extremely unnecessary. It wasn’t needed. I would much rather have had those few extra minutes with Mariah trying to convince Gary to stay and dwelling on her emotions after the fact.

Welp, looks like Gary is gonna turn himself in to an insane asylum. Pros: The voice-acting was ON POINT, especially Bel Rusape’s delivery during Gary’s internal and external freak out. There was some really good chemistry between Michael and Abigail as their relationship continued to grow. Cons: The sex scene at the end felt unnecessary, but it thankfully didn’t go on for too long. Why didn’t Mariah try to get Alistair’s help in explaining the body swap to Gary? It wouldn’t be foolproof, but it would surely be worth a try. it would be interestimg to see afyer Awakening when gary and mariah are cured if gary would for one night see what its like to be a woman with Mariah before he changes back( that is ofcourse they need to have their curses removed first)
Well Alastair will need to get some explaining to Mariah and Gary on what happened when Mariah was brainwashed by the enhanced curse since she wasn’t acting like herself because of the enhanced curse. He will have to do that for a number of people he helped (Jamie and Francine are a few others too).
im hoping we get to see that in the remaining Awakening episodes as we go on cause they cant just leave them as they are and Alistair and co cant just attack sylvana head on again if there gonna defeat her they will first have to weaken her forces this includes curing some of the infected and taking out some of her Ruby Brethren (thats what im calling her followers now) before theuly think about taking on sylvana. They will also need an Army of there own
Maybe after they save a couple of their non-bloods loved ones and friends, Alastair will use his enhanced version of the mind protection spell so that Sylvana and her army can’t brainwash them a second time.
yeah but holly had that spell on her and she still transformed if they want to protect them they will nerd to find a much stronger spell for that maybe something that protects them against blood magic which the gender curse uses to create it
Maybe something like that spell on the necklace Ashley gave to Robin on the latter’s wedding day perhaps? After the non-blood loved ones/friends are saved, Alastair and his allies will probably first teleport them to a safer place away from Sylvana’s army (probably the DSC or SPF headquarters).

p.s also they will need somethimg that gives them the edge cause up until now sylvsna has bern one step ahead of them every time
