September 19th, 2014: One Year Ago Today…

By | September 19, 2014

One year ago today was when I told my parents all about my alias SapphireFoxx, and what I had been creating for nearly a year in secret. Five days prior, I got accepted into Google’s ad program, which instantly made it a possibility to make a living off of this.

Telling them went much easier than I ever expected. They were so proud of my success, and didn’t mind the subject matter at all. The next week I dropped out of my college to do this full time.

Since then, the site has thrived and grown to the point that I now have a business and hired two artists working to create content. SapphireFoxx.com has become the Internets largest transgender site. I have achieved a lot in this last year, and I owe it all to my subscribers.

Thank you all so much for helping to keep the dream alive. As long as there are loyal fans, there will be great content coming for years to come.

I wouldn’t call this a TG site. Gender transformation, sure. Not really TG though. TG in my mind is voluntarily dressing up as the opposite gender while still being your original gender, regardless of surgeries or hormone changes. This site is primarily magical involuntary actual complete transformation. Big big difference.

That’s cross-dressing which is sort of (but not always) transvestitism. Being transgender means you have transitioned from male to female or you have a personal gender identity separate to your physical gender.

Considering it’s impossible to switch gender, I think making a distinction between transgender how society understands it and magical transformation is necessary. I love magical transformation but have zero desire in real life to dress up like or act like a woman.

How is it impossible to switch genders? no you may not be fully the opposite gender down to every last cell of your body, but you can change gender. gender is not just a physical anomaly, it is also a mental image. If you think and believe you are a woman or a man, then you are. Your body just doesnt fully match, but steps can be taken to correct that. I see your point in that no magical malady exists to cause a full blown gender transformation, but TG stands for transgender, and if you look up the actual… Read more »

My bad. I forgot a term once used to describe people with XX chromosomes and XY chromosomes has been hijacked to mean one’s mental state. Some of us still use oldschool terms.
