Foxx doesn’t need to worry about advertisers, but PayPal has similar “no adult content” rules. No clue why they’d have such a policy, but I’ve heard about very bad things happening to people who try to fund “adult” sites through PayPal.
As I understand it, laws regarding charges and other considerations for adult content are quite different from other content; the difference in taxation is known as a “sin tax.” These odd variances in the law stem from the fairly prudish nature of America in regards to all things to do with sex.
Oh, huh. I suppose that makes (a twisted kind of) sense.
