Since it’s Saturday I’m assuming we’ll be waiting all weekend for the animation.

War can’t give life. It can only take it away.

What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.

Unfortunately not all people seek peace and sometimes words and sanctions are not enough to stop bullies, whether local or international. Sometimes some blood must spilled to protect the rights and freedom of many. Sometimes bullies only respect forces. Ukraine shows us that. It’s sad but Putin will only back down if nations are ready to shed blood to stop him.
Sorry to bring the real world into here, but the bullies of world don’t listen to words that aren’t backed up by people who are willing if necessary to use force to back up their words.

You’re right of course, but…she’s just quoting some famous American song lyrics from 1970, recorded late into the Vietnam war.

In its cultural context the lyrics are much more understandable.

It was also a song put on the “do not play list” of nearly every American radio station following the events of September 11, 2001 (the aftermath of which involved…getting into two very questionable wars)

I am old enough to know the song well and still in school when it first came out.

Sorry but if you read it correctly she was never married, but her 2 fiance died. If you haven’t lost someone dear then maybe you would not understand the pain it may bring to open up that kind of wound. Some people can be open about their loss but others the pain it to fresh and real years after the events.

actually loliver04 i have lost someone dear to me not once but twice and that’s my parents . and i can understand what you are saying . but it would do arianne to open up to taylor and not keep it bottled up inside . and yes i knew that she was never married but had 2 fiancé’s that passed .
