Phantom has brainrot. Its the only explanation for him being so dense.

No, there are certainly other explanations. One of those being that, as some people have pointed out, Garra could be controlling the Glumine and he’s the one behind everything happening on Odyssey.

Even if Garra isn’t behind all this, we know he’s not stupid or dense. He is following orders to protect the commission. And right now, a member of the commission is unprotected. The right move is to go find the detective and then get Noreli afterwards.

No excuses.

And I think it’s ridiculous to have that kind of mindset. Everyone has their reasons for doing something. Whether Garra isn’t going to help Noreli because he’s actually controlling the Glumine or because he’s prioritizing helping the detective, both of those are valid reasons for not going back to the Rhino. Just because those reasons don’t make sense to you does not mean that they’re bad, nor are they “excuses.”

This is a level of cretinous failure to learn that indicates this gimboid is not a sentient – I can only assume that the bloke in the black armour is working for the enemy, and green boy is either a stooge or a stupid, being so clearly either clueless or malevolent will surely bite them before too long

While I do think it’s possible that Garra is partly behind this, I don’t think Leeroy is a stooge or even stupid. He’s been put in a no-win situation. Either he goes back to check on Noreli and risks the detective getting attacked, or he protects the detective (which is his job) and leaves Noreli to defend himself. Either way, someone is vulnerable to the Glumine. Not to mention, Garra appears to be the one in charge of the mission, so Leeroy has to follow Garra’s orders.

If you’re in a war and a friend is under attack and you can save him, while another friend is not under attack yet, but could get attacked, what do you do?

Like all situations in life, it depends. Every situation is unique. Does my friend under attack have a weapon to defend himself with, like Noreli does? Does my friend who’s not under attack but could be under attack not have a weapon, like the detective does? Because those factors would change my answer.

But answer your question, if my friend under attack has a weapon and my other friend does not have a weapon, I’d go help the friend who is not under attack but could be. My job then becomes to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Good fricking grief, Phantom. That’s two crew members you already abandoned…

Just… don’t expect any help at this point if ever you’ll be the one getting attacked by the Glumine.

Should we go back and check on them? Nah we already walked like 50′ away. If it was important they’ll call back.

To be fair, the detective could be getting attacked by the Glumine at this very moment and she’d have no protection. While Noreli and the director have the Rhino’s weapons and defenses to protect them (Garra and Leeroy do not know that the Rhino’s power has been drained).

So I think the right call is to protect the person who can’t protect themselves and come back after you’ve got the detective. And if just one of them went to get the detective, that would leave both of them vulnerable to a Glumine attack. So they have to stay together.

You are on a planet with hostile beings that already turned not one but two of your crewmembers while jamming the coms. And your reaction to not reaching your crewmembers after they tried to reach you with a bad signal basically is ‘meh’?!?! How did you survive space? How?
